Who This Covers
This policy describes what AutoBahn Sales & Leasing LLC ("AutoBahn", "we") does with information you provide through https://autobahnsl.com. It applies to the website only. Information you give a dealer, a lender or a leasing company as part of a vehicle transaction is covered by their own policies and the contracts you sign with them.
What Is Collected
Through the quote request form on the contact page, you may provide:
- Your name, phone number and email address
- Which service you are interested in and how you prefer to be contacted
- Vehicle details you choose to share, such as make, model, year, mileage or notes
The website does not ask for a Social Security number, date of birth, driver's license number, bank details or any credit information. If you are asked for those on a page that looks like this site, stop and call us.
The website does not set tracking cookies of its own. It stores nothing in your browser. Whether any analytics tool is added later is NEEDS CLIENT CONFIRMATION. If one is, this section will name it and describe what it records.
Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may log standard connection data such as IP address, browser type, pages requested, for security and to keep the site running. We do not use that data to identify you.
How It Is Used
Information from the quote form is used to:
- Reply to your request by the method you chose
- Find, price and arrange the vehicle or service you asked about
- Keep a record of the conversation while we work together
We do not sell your information. We do not add you to a marketing list because you sent a form. If you text or call us, we may reply by the same channel. Reply STOP to any text to end texts.
Who Processes It
Two outside services handle form data on our behalf:
- Formspree receives the quote request form and forwards it to us by email. Formspree stores submissions on its servers under its own privacy policy.
- Jotform hosts the credit application, which is a separate encrypted form linked from this site and never embedded in it. Credit application data goes to Jotform, then to us, then to the lenders involved. It does not pass through this website.
Both are contractually limited to processing the data for us. Neither is permitted to use it for their own marketing.
Third Parties
- Google Maps provides the embedded map on the contact page. Loading it sends a request to Google, which may set cookies under Google's policy. The map only loads when you scroll to it.
- Google, Yelp and social networks are linked from the site. Following those links takes you to their services and their policies.
- Analytics: NEEDS CLIENT CONFIRMATION. None is loaded at the time of this policy.
- Lenders, dealers, leasing companies: they receive the information needed to complete a transaction you have asked us to arrange, and only that.
How Long It Is Kept
Quote requests are kept for as long as needed to respond. If you become a client, they are kept for the life of the transaction plus the period California law requires for dealer and broker records. You can ask us to delete a request that did not lead to a transaction at any time.
Your California Rights
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, California residents can ask us:
- What personal information we have collected about them, where it came from, and why
- To delete personal information we hold, subject to legal record keeping requirements
- To correct inaccurate personal information
- Whether we sell or share personal information. We do not, and we have not in the past twelve months.
We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights. To make a request, use the contact details below. We will confirm your identity using the information you originally gave us and respond within the time the law allows, normally 45 days.
Children
The site is for adults arranging vehicle transactions. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has sent us a form, tell us and we will delete it.
Changes
When this policy changes, the effective date at the top changes with it. Material changes, such as adding an analytics tool, will be described in the relevant section rather than buried.
