Lease Negotiation Help for Los Angeles Drivers

Most people see a lease worksheet once every three years. Dealers see one every hour. A lease has a selling price, an end-of-term value, a rate, a term, a mileage allowance, fees, add-ons, and one monthly payment that hides all of it. We know which of those the dealer controls, which the manufacturer sets, and which ones tend to get inflated.

We do not post the figures here because they change with the car, the program, and the month. What we can do is look at yours and tell you, in plain words, whether to sign it.

We serve the San Fernando Valley and greater Los Angeles. This review works by phone or text from anywhere. The office is on Sherman Way if you want to bring the papers in. Directions are on the contact page.

Who Uses This in the Valley

Anyone with a worksheet in hand at a dealership, or a quote by email they cannot judge. Anyone who negotiated once, felt they lost, and does not want that again. It also helps business owners checking a fleet quote, which the business vehicles page covers.

If you have not started shopping yet, the car leasing page is the better place to begin, since we can run the whole search for you. If the offer is a buyout on a lease that is ending, the lease-end page is the one you want.

How Lease Negotiation Works

  1. Send Us the Offer

A photo of the worksheet or the email the dealer sent. Every line, not just the payment.

  2. We Read the Offer

We check the selling price, the term, the miles, what is due at signing, and any fees that were added.

  3. We Tell You What Is Padded

Which numbers are fair, which are padded, and what the same car is going for elsewhere right now.

  4. You Decide Who Negotiates

Go back to the dealer with our notes, or hand the deal to us and we will shop it against other dealers.

  5. Sign It or Walk Away

You sign a deal you understand, or you walk away from one you should not take.

What You Need to Bring

  • The dealer's written offer or worksheet, photographed clearly
  • The exact car: year, make, model, trim, VIN if you have it
  • What you told the dealer you wanted: term, miles, down payment
  • Any trade-in numbers they gave you
  • Your deadline, if the dealer gave you one

AutoBahn never asks for a Social Security number, date of birth or driver's license number through this website.

Questions About Lease Negotiation

More answers on the FAQ page, or ask AutoBahn directly through the contact page.

I already have a deal in front of me. Why involve a broker?

Because the worksheet is written to be hard to read. We see these all the time. In a few minutes we can tell you whether the price, the fees, and the term are fair. Then we tell you what to push on.

Will you negotiate with the dealer for me?

If you want us to, yes. We take the offer, shop the same car with other dealers, and come back with a better written deal. Or we coach you and you handle it yourself.

What if the dealer says the price is fixed?

Some numbers are set by the manufacturer. Most are not. We tell you which is which for your car so you know where the room is.

Can you look at a purchase offer, not just a lease?

Yes. The same review works for a finance or cash deal: selling price, add-ons, fees, rate.

Do I pay for the review?

No. If we end up placing the deal with a dealer, that dealer pays us. If we only read your offer and send you back with notes, there is no charge.

Send us the worksheet.

A photo is fine. We read it and call you back with what to push on.
